managed to get to chair 23 as they got it running monday. no complaints. :drool: still plenty of fun in the trees in ch. 14 area yesterday.

not much here on homewood so i thought i'd echo the above. skied there sunday and was impressed with the possibilities. "possibilities" because the best of homewood - off-piste - was too crunchy to be sampled. "quail face," the steepest terrain, was (wisely) closed. lots of nice tree shots...

yesterday about 3-ish spotted a maybe 18"-wide strip of snow that dropped about eight feet into the andy's alley area, after which there was enough snow to give one plenty of options as to which trees to turn into gates. fun stuff. "one more run" turned into five. i shot some vid on someone...

kinda late but... excellent spring condit's yesterday. finished the day by taking 4 up, dropping down a little, then skiing along a ridge awhile before dropping into a nice little bowl just above the parking lot (PIC in link below). http://forums.mammothmountain.com/forum ... erthread=y

...I now have an MVP pass at Mammoth. Just re-upped myself for '07. Hard deal to beat. Looking like 4th of July skiing again this year.
