They big problem to try and sell is if you buy you don't get to be the operator, just the landlord collecting a rent check hopefully. Doesn't necessarily mean a good ROI.
Thinking about Mt. High and the lack of snowmaking, I was looking at the CNL Lifestyle website and financial reports are on it. They are losing big money on their ski resorts and the drought and especially Mt. High have been a big reason. My thought is it is them pulling the plug on snowmaking...
I interviewed for Food & Beverage Manager there quite a few years ago. Looking at these pictures I wish I had got it. They flew me in, put me up in hotel for weekend and took care of me. Thought the job was mine with the treatment, but lost out. Oh Well!
One has to think that Mt. High is having water issues. With as cold as its been to have very little open and not even trying to get East open for the holiday season where the money is. I think East is a natural snow only resort now.

There were many season we closed down operations and opened for sightseers for $10 each. If you wanted to bring your skis and find a line(which you could) we were ok with that. I set up a BBQ at the bottom and sold soda and beers out of an ice chest.
They have hired the right guy to make this happen, the GM from the Big Bear Mountain Resorts. I have known Brent for a long time and he will make goods things happen here.
Jackson is quite expensive, if you are on any kind of fixed income with your retirement think about the other side of the pass in Driggs, Id. area. My niece lives in Driggs, but commutes over the hill to Jackson for work...not that far.
