I have skied Killington at the holidays. As long as you know the area a bit, and use your common sense, you can avoid lines. For example, don't try to take the K1 summit gondola or Superstar at 9 AM. Park at Bear. And if you don't mind riding slower lifts (heaven forbid!!) you won't wait at all.
