Sorry to bug, how much time to do the "requisite" West Yellowstone tour? We plan to arrive just after breakfast either from Driggs or Big Sky, that is, on way up to or back from Big Sky. Or actually maybe just sleep in WY after skiing one day.

Good observation, never actually picked poles while in boots/skis, which makes one maybe up to 2" taller? Can someone tell me: Benefits of longer skis v shorter??? Control? Ease of skiing? Speed? Tighter turns? I haven't a clue. This would be for us moving from 150 to 160?? Or is that...

Well, we jumped the rope and skiied downtown on last day, last run!!!! We will return to CB and Tride, with Taos and Wolf thrown in, probably some Easter vacation when it falls in early March. This Easter it's Banff et al, next one Mammoth.

What do youse think may be the main reason for not controlling longer skis? Stance?

I think this trip will nhot only be as grand as all our ski trips, but an eye (and probably terrain) opener since I DEFINITELY WILL TAKE LESSONS specifically to move into better skis, and to learn the gift of powder skiing. Thank you ALL for such earnest and well-intentioned advice, gracias...

Mornin`! Looking into Utah SUPER PASS Ski & Stay, as low as $170/night, 4 days ski for 2 pax. Are these 2 lesser knowns worth skipping Alta and Snowbird for 1 day each, to ski LSG (long steep groomers)?? Gracias!

Flight Taxes in Dr have always been almost as much, and sometimes more than the flights themselves, plus monopolies here and there, kickbacks, etc. Example, same dates MIA-SLC on AA $295, SDQ-MIA $450...... It is what it is, a royal pain in the arse, and a complete rip-off.
