Yesterday the snow was actualy too deep and vis was so bad..i couldnt ski it well at all. Its funny how many people would never admit that sometimes too much snow..is simply too much.

Woke up today at 530 to see how buried my house was...it was pretty bad. Waited a little while before starting the blower. Had at least a foot in the driveway and 2 feet in front of it from the plow. Spent 2 hours blowing it and my neighbors..he doesnt own a blower. Friend of mine texted me...

Was there last year..if I lived there...That would be my go to place.

I doubt i could do this anymore. 6 years breathing construction dust dud me in...

Going to hit snowmass?

Alta today...after a 25 inch dump. Snow was a bit heavy. We got the rope drop on backside.

Dumping at pc...thank...god!

It was 50 at the base at alta..same thing tomorrow..then snow rolls in. All lifts at Alta on generator...main power feed failure. Mineral basin closed till the 7th..lift failure. But it was a nice bluebird day!

Alta groomer zoomers today...warm but not warm enough to soften up anything not in the sun.

Yup. Now its nothing till monday..then snow all week. Im sure lcc will get hit hardest...and im stuck at pc that week. But ill take it. Brighton was scratchy today..never warmed up. Did get to slide around off the great eedtern lift..never been there...that looks like the place to go on a pow day.

We all went to alta saturday...anything not groomed was mank. One of the group blew his back out..we were pretty much done by noon. Ill be at Brighton tomorrow..we shall see. What has amazed me is that it has snowed just about every weekend this winter. Im actualy fine with taking a few days...

No new snow predicted until monday. Ide say thats a dry spell. And yeah..groomers not my thing.. You firget i spent 30 years on the east coast skiing some of the worst conditions on earth.. Anyone from the east...not a princess.. Need a new right knee now because of it.
