Backside had the best snow all day. The groomers were a bit busy for my taste.

Hopefully we get some snow soon. I have to miss the opening of PC...but it doesnt look too good at this time. Ill be back in a week. Hopefully I wont have to drive 200 miles to Brian head!

Last year I skied there a few times and only found anything interesting in the trees. They over groom almost everything...but im sure theres a lot of hidden goods. The new area is too low..the base is the same elevation as my house. I prefer the canyons.

Well... I never have the probs at PC...ill take the not as great skiing for easy access. I bought an epic and ikon...see how that goes. Not willing to pay 2700.00 for an altabird pass...yet.

Well..since im stuck here..might as well spend all the money i saved by not buying things i dont need and expensive food. Bought a ticket..booked a level 9 lesson which i knew would turn into a private guide..it did. Holy shit..he took me into some of the crazier stuff they have. Only an inch...

I really liked the vastness of cirque and hanging valley... Skied headwall several times. Exiting both left and right areas...rock garden was tricky. AMF area was cool...skied the first chute...ptarmigian?..then skied it again crossing under amf. Hanging valley through the trees was cool. Today...

I found the terrain in the cirque and hanging valley to be some of the best ive skied all year. This may be my favorite place at the moment...its certainly big enough.

We've gotten 40 inches so far and its still dumping. Hopefully I'm not sitting in Aspen airport all day tomorrow.

Only thing a bit spooky in the valley was going through the steep trees looking for an exit. It turned out to be the best run of the week

Havent checked out hanging valley yet... Heard its much steeper than cirque..which i found to be not that steep. AMF was cool! KT gully was pretty steep...liked that one.

Cirque was best...

Mostly stayed in the cirque..but found good stuff in the morning off sams knob and bliss.
