Over the weekend while in Vermont,I had wonderful clams and mussels
To be honest, it was against my better judgment to eat them. It was a dish ordered for the table, but all worked out fine.
Value? No value
My favorite place is the Chatham pier
My house is about 2 miles from Skipper’s in South Yarmouth. I think their lobster was frozen, but that’s my opinion.
Yep a good one is 39 crazy
It’s a splurge.
Best value is the fried fish platter.
Windham and Hunter are very similar in snowfall. Sometimes Windham will do a little better on a persistent northeast wind because they sit on the north eastern edge of the Catskills. They can get a little bit of orographic snow in that situation.
You answered your own question
There is nothing between the lake and the western edge of the cats.
I can’t tell you how many times I have driven to Platte and have had zero snow on the way and then all of a sudden a quarter a mile from the base lodge boom there’s 6 inches of snow
no one is more skeptical about reporting then me , but i might have to agree with those numbers... I have seen first hand the diff between Platt and Bell and Hunter . This is especially pronounced with a North/Northwest flow..ie lake effect... with a regular "nor easter" the differences are much...
we have central and split system....the split (Mitsubishi) fried it's circuit boards 2 yrs ago , parts under warranty , but the labor wasn't..800$...last month same thing , fried boards , yippee they are warrantied. Not the 1200$ in labor...
I don't surf , but i did windsurf at competent level...i could do a laydown jibe... when you are hooked in and back in the straps..warm flat water , it might be the best feeling ever!!! i imagine surfing is similar. i got goosey writing this
In the Northeast we have a similar scenario ... On a typical summer day the temps at the beach might rise to the mid 80's/30c..then around 2 ish the sea breeze turns on..temp will drop back into the low or mid 70's... this cooling breeze only penetrates 10 or so miles inland.
yesterday was it...
