Hey, I can cherry pick my data as well!

Climate change, normal temp swings, the real elephant is the decision whether to sit in traffic or get up at 4:00. Sitting in traffic this season sucks, way worse than the loss of powder. If I get up to arrive at 8:30 I find I'm there at 9:30, even on closure free days. We can argue whether...

The tram line on Saturday was horrible!

Admin constantly posts about how Snowbird is so much busier based on his own observations from Alta, why would it be any surprise he's a climate denier? ;)

I got to the canyon at 8:20 and the conga line had already begun. I pulled into a usually vacant bypass road at 8:45 and found it filling fast, I had to park above the bottom of Whodunnit. They were running a bump comp down Lightening Tree Gully, the Mom's and Dad's were filling the place up...

Although Zoomer looked like that the tram was walk onto the platform all day. Still a lot of ropes and limited terrain, Regulator is the only way down from the tram. I'm hoping for that storm Wednesday to open some more terrain.

    Wow Snowbird

The visibility on Snowbird's closing weekend was nothing like the pea soup on Alta closing day. Saturday was a bit cloudy as they moved in and out and the light was pretty flat being as it snowed most of the day. Sunday was glorious from the get go, I've got go pro footage from my buddy on...

Ouch! That sucks, but at least it was near the end of the season. Heal up for next season! (Cause it's gonna snow a lot!) Saw Bobby D today, even shared a lift ride. Mineral was quite nice this morning.

That was a pretty safe bet, Ira. ;) I'm still standing by my 100" April claim. C'mon winter, bring it!

    Alta, UT - April 4, 5, 9, 11, 12 & 15, 2015

That might have been me once this season, I think I remember saying hi. I've only been over to Alta twice this season, both times the lift lines chased me back to Snowbird! I've seen Bobby and Amy quite a few times, said hi a couple of them. (That grey outfit of Bobby's stands out, I...

Or, it could be that seeing as how Gad2 is now closed they're taking measurements on terrain you can actually ski? All I know is that there was definitely WAY more snow than 16 inches. It was also exactly as described in the articles above. We never rode Little Cloud once, we rode Wilbere a...

I'm not sure what's up with their time lapse, but there was nowhere near only 16 inches yesterday. This was our very first run yesterday morning. My Buddy Travis isn't very tall, but he certainly isn't a midget. If you'll notice his balls area seems to be coddled by snow... This was after...

Snowbird was a ghost town on Sunday. I pulled into the Zoom lot at 10:00 and parked in the very front row behind the loading and unloading row.

I don't mean to be a dick here, but actually you do. jamesdeluxe wrote: Jason didn't mention it, but that was his first day on new boots and it was 0 degrees when those pix were taken: stiff, unbroken-in boots? Or is that irrelevant? :-D Irrelevant. That stuff has nothing to do with skiing...

it was a joke. Honestly I think you're an old snarky beater. I still remember seeing video posted here of your skiing, I don't think you have much room to criticize anyone about skiing. And there we are...

If I goaded Marc into skiing by jerking his chain I call it mission accomplished! I was over the ridge all day. Spring may have sprung early but it's still pretty nice. Unless we have a 100" April I'm not holding out hope for a Memorial Day close.

No, it's more like this. "It's a ski forum you regularly post on, never about skiing? Seems reasonable to assume you don't ski much or you'd post about it, since, again you post regularly on a ski forum." Like I said, you post ABOUT skiing quite a bit, but you never seem to post about GOING...

I skied today, my 40th of the season. I have no interest of stalking you. I do have an interest in the Swell, as well as most of Southern Utah. I can bring up orange juice if the Red Bull offends you, the donut offer still stands. This morning I could've offered you hash browns and sausages...

I'll have you know my name is Bob. ;) I know James as well, as a matter of fact he was the first skier I ever met "from the Internet." i actually talked to him while he was in the hospital after breaking his femur his first Utah trip (while skiing on a lift ticket I had given him), I then...
