I’m committed to a backcountry course with Snoworks in Tignes. Apparently there will be enough snow to do work on technical stuff/steeps/chutes at higher altitude if there is no fresh snow to ski. I’m along for the ride I guess.

Any recent travellers to Europe been asked for an international driving permit when renting a car? I know we discussed this recently and the general consensus was they don’t ask for it but I’m wondering if that has changed recently? I don’t think I’ll bother wasting my time and money getting one...

I always fly basic economy and almost always have a ski bag. Just goes to oversize as long as it's under 23kg. I had United leave my bag in San Fran a couple of months ago but usually don't have any issues.

I obviously never try to ski the day I land. I usually do some tourist thing. This time I might rent a bike and ride around Lake Annecy or something.

I don’t know what it is in other countries but the kids on provisional licences here in Oz have to be 0.00% blood alcohol concentration. Something like that in the US?

Stop rubbing it in. We pay about $6 for one micro brew (craft beer as we call it) can or stubby.
