I created a thread because I was trying to avoid having many Big Snow TRs.

They do it once a month for the weekend Fri-Sun. I'm guessing "experts" are probably not a big part of the customer base, outside of bump days.

Can't speak for James. I would ski at American Dream when they are featuring seeded bumps.

Because people do the math and the passes are "cheaper" per day (if you only look a lift ticket cost). The passes get your money upfront, and WEATHER is not a factor. If everyone buys day tickets, you are screwed in a year like 15/16.

Years ago I did some nordic skiing in (or near?) the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. I thought it was beautiful. Sorry I haven't been paying attention, but what is the "best" ski area in MN? How far is Bohemia?

Fear isn't always best conquered. Sometimes it is serving a purpose. I guess the key is knowing when to hold em and when to fold em.
