    N. Mex. & So. Col. Dec/Jan?

I've also had good luck holiday skiing at beaver creek, which has good long groomers. I think there snow is somewhat underrated and much less crowded then vail and summit. I agree with winter park and steamboat.

Jackson Hole, WY, Feb. 9, 2012

Tony While I tend to agree with you about Jackson Terrain being #1 in terrain quality, how does it compare to both Alta/Bird together for inbounds? From Catherine's down canyon to what is it Tigertail? at Snowbird and everything in between it gives Jackson a run for its money. As for...

    Taos or Big Sky

I vote Taos! Good food, good town and great mountain. As Tony said with good snow year take advantage. It needs good snow to ski the whole mountain.

Grand Targhee, WY, Feb. 10, 2012

Skied Targee in 04 around the same time of the year. Had 11inch overnight on top of 6 the day before. Sun was out and it skied epic. I was so hungover from the drive in and partying at the Moose in Jackson the day before. I swear I have never had hangover symptoms disappear as fast. Powder will...

This should be right up Tony's alley

I agree Evren seems strange. Although if they (pcmr) said from the begging that they went daily for snow safety i would buy it. Also I think there snow total fro jupiter is somewhat accurate. I asked my father who works up there as a liftie on saturdays, he thought it was accurate

Park City Lift Tickets and Best Snow

I like Maxwells in Redstone, not really in Park City but might fit the bill if you have wheels or can bus it.

    Chugach Powder Guides 1/7

Jealous! I took a friend out fishing today from Hatcher Pass near palmer ak. He raved about how good the skiing was this season. With 21 fresh they may not have been lying.

    Berthoud Pass avalanche

    Western Canada Road Trip

Wish the conditions where better for you, but still sounds like lots of fun! I skied Sunshine Lake Louise and kicking horse in late march 06, loved it. I think ideally it is better to ski there in feb/march over early season. Just for the fact that the interior doesnt get the huge snow and needs...

Nice report! I was wondering how it was looking up there. MY bud in Winter Park is losing his mind with the lack of snow on that side of the divide.

Meet in the Middle - Houston Texas and Winnipeg Manitoba

Telluride, vail, steamboat, park city come to mind. JHole may work.cant think of to many others direct from houston that dont require huge drive/transfers, and that are somewhat near the houston/peg travel line line. Side note a good friend of mine that I play hockey with is from your neck of...

Any of the front rangers get up there or plan on going sunday? I know there is limited terrian but they may open more with this storm. FYI This info was given to me by a friend who is a local and out plowing snow.
