Where are you going this season (25/26)?

I know a number of people who do that, including Tony (and Tseeb?) here.

Funny that they still have that old (1980s?) lighted sign at the summit.

I was always surprised that you don't take advantage of that nonstop flight unless it cost significantly more money or miles because it's on Swiss. 10-4 that. For better and worse, there's no confusing us with western Americans! :eusa-naughty:

Where are you going this season (25/26)?

Yes, as noted: :icon-e-wink: It's rare these days to find ski areas that aren't on any multi-resort passes, even the smaller ones.

Heads-up for United FFers: winter award sales drop on Monday Dec 1. I'll be online at midnight to see if I can score a roundtrip to Munich for less than 60K. Given subpar experiences over the past two winters, I'm tempering my expectations.

We'll receive our Indy Passes "in the next month"?!? Good that there's a workaround but I wonder what the holdup is.

Where are you going this season (25/26)?

Did anyone upthread post this Google map that plots locations of the various North American mega passes (Epic, Ikon, Mountain Collective, Indy, Powder Alliance, Cooper, Freedom, and Power)? Especially helpful, I suppose, if one is hoping to combine a major pass with one of the smaller ones.

Likewise. Shouldn't they have arrived by now?

Where are you going this season (25/26)?

Our calculations: If we follow the Indy Pass itinerary mentioned above, our ski tickets will cost $0 (or $52 x 2 if we buy a discounted additional day in Innsbruck). We don't have an Ikon Pass so at the current exchange rate a one-week offpeak Dolomites pass (through the end of January) would...

Can Snowmaking Compensate for Climate Change?

Out of idle curiosity, I AI'd to see which ski area was using that slogan first and it came up with a "Financial Times ski piece from October 25, 1997 quotes a Targhee guide saying, 'We get snow from heaven, not from hoses!' in the context of describing the resort’s natural snow." If that's the...

Based on my wife and I having Indy Passes, here's what we've penciled in and of course there will likely be fiscal, familial, and logistical issues that make me reconfigure trips.
