    Snow Ridge 12/13/09

Saturday was the day to be at Snow Ridge, and I'm blaming Acid Christ for us not getting there...as he bailed at the last minute and I didn't want to drive into the LES alone. Had I known that Patrick was going, I might have gone for it, but I just wasn't motivated to go it alone, even with a...

it wasn't snow: Greek Peak 12/13/09

Skiing in less than ideal conditions makes one really appreciate the bluebird days with 2 feet of fresh powder that lay ahead. In the meantime, we had fun, weren't cold or wet. Having the right gear really helps. And, as an added bonus, it also builds character  . Oh, and it was...

    Greek Peak opening day 12/10/09

For some reason, FTO isn't blocked today from my work computer, so I am going to take this opportunity to post a quick TR from yesterday's first ski outing. The lifts started turning at noon as scheduled. Acid Christ skied by to ride chair 3 on the "bunny hill" known as Alpha slope as I chatted...

    Brighton, UT 11/15/09

At least it looks like winter somewhere. 65 degrees and sunny was perfect for a nice long mtn bike ride, and the trails were actually pretty dry

Longest Glade in the East (?)

Can't wait to ski The Cirque again! The sweet thing about The Cirque is that you really feel like you are out there and it sure does feel like the longest glade.
