never made it down to snowbird as far as to the tram base, infact i never made it to the lower mtn. . skied around alta until just before noon , then the baldy chair opened up maybe just a few minutes afternoon time , skied the baldy chair most of the time did ten untracked runs off that chair ...

fun afternoon in the spineys for sure! the picture of tele jon and the other amy show the pitch of the terrain in there pretty well .

time for a larger ego container the old ones not gonna fit anymore !!!

the fact that neither resort gets full price for their share of the pass , leads to ill feelings about selling it . in the beginning of sales time in the life of this pass that was done to show some cooperation between resorts. the mngmt. at both these places doesn't really care for one another...

the snowbird alta pass is the bastard pass . neither resort wants anything to really do with it , but they recognize the money that's to be gained from it . certainly not the value pass they intended it to be in the beginning but still of quite a nice value if you live here

agree wholeheartedly ... and the real kicker is we had to direct some of those clueless skiers where to go . to many people with out the proper ability to ski that run and simply no direction knowledge as to what was where . reminded me of tuckermans ravine on a nice april day .. :-"

waiting your arrival !! maybe we'll have main chute for your first day . thought by the way alta Patrol was going to open main chute for us yesterday , but it never happened. would have been an onslaught of people going up that didn't have a clue , probably better they didn't .

just a couple more to add -

i like the last one the most , way up in middle bowl with a very western sky sun just blazing . that snow was very consistent . i thought the pic. of admin staring into infinity shoud be a new avatar pic . no -name skied to perfection again , and the pictures tell the better part of the day ...

the chute we skied was one up the ridge from diagonal chute-- chute13-- . route 1 shot5 is mid cirque rope line , that one was skied earlier in the day .

and did i forget to mention how slow the snow was from the cold !!! but pure sweeeeetneesssss. that's a nice way to drop into the bird .... all QUALITY !!!!!!!!

really , i think for those folks who know there ability isn't sufficent for deep powder skiing . if today were rateable on a 1 to 10 scale , today was a prime example of a 10 . without doubt even at snowbird it was fantastic . arriving on the summit of hidden peak only to look west at the summit...
