happy thanksgiving - day 8---- perfect visi. today , it's better skiing when it's snowing i.m.o. , but sunny days now and then are nice to . especially after a slight wind event , not an 80m.p.h. event but an event that did move a good amount of snow into alot of the low spots were smoooothed...

feeling much better today after some not so good oysters on fri. night . super hero snow is the best way to describe it . hard to make a bad turn (anywhere). it was hard to get any real pictures with any good visi. it snowed hard most of the day.

the fire in san pete county had grown to be monster size by last evening 39,000 acres at only 4% containment according to local news, 25 to 30 houses had been lost , terrible and this fire the news says was human triggered . jake does quite well out hiking he stays with you and doesn't run off...

what a difference from yesterday to today. nice cold gliding snow was waiting for yesterdays group to ascend collins gulch , and today was a sweat fest and not much cold gliding snow left , big big difference in the base area of collins gulch verses peruvian gulch in what remains of yesterdays...
