Looking to the pics above, I begin to more seriously believe the rumours saying that Killington would open on weekends, after may 15 !

    Saint-Sauveur - Great Skiing - May 7, 2005

We were a bunch of friends at MSS yesterday, including Patrick, Max, Eric312 and me, to enjoy some great spring skiing in still 2 trails T2B well covered in snow, without any breaks, with the Nordic triple chairlift still running. The West 70 still has a lot of snow, while the Nordique is less...

    La Reserve, May 4th 2005

quote Eric : Now the trail is much easier but it remains the hardest one of the province I don't think so, honestly... anyway, was it the toughest one ? go take a look in the Torngat Range, you'll see :D anyway, you can't really judge this trail compared to last year, Eric, as you only...

    La Reserve, May 4th 2005

... Just like for us, we kinda know the mountains in New England with the reports with pics done on FTO :) Hey Eric, you know my opinion about cutting the trees in the Pirouette... you know I'm disgusted of all that... the trail was way more nice with trees.

St-Sauveur confirms its closure for may 15

Lol ! Funny idea... but I'm not sure if they would do it, because St-Sauveur is not really in the race against Killington... it's more Killington which is in the race against St-Sauveur. (I mean, St-Sauveur seem to only want to claim to have the longest season in the province... not in the East...

St-Sauveur confirms its closure for may 15

Funny thing this year, as both Killington and St-Sauveur began their season on november 9 and both of them will finish it on may 15 ! However Killington have a 3 hours (or so) of advantage as St-Sauveur opened later than Killington, the same day !

Killington won't have the longest season in the East

No, I'm not suggesting things about St-Sauveur... but I'm more talking about the fact that there was a ski area which opened its easy side around october 9, this year... was skiable T2B in 12" powder with already a snowpack under the powder on october 15 and closed on april 23 with still 3-4...

    St-Sauveur (still open), QC - May 1, 2005

Killington is not alone... once again ! Yesterday, we hiked St-Sauveur... to ski in the opened trails :) (there was some weird weather with a lot of showers AND sun, so to buy our tickets at 19$ for 2h (it was closing on 2h PM) was a little bit expensive considering the risks... This year, MSS...

    I lost my snowpatch :(

Weird subject title... For those who were reading the no-bulls report 2 years ago, you certainly remember my big enthusiasm, talking of the Loup-Garou canyon at La Réserve... where I skied into june in 2003. Well, it looks like they've passed a bulldozer into it last fall, to reduce the...

    Valinouet- Qc - April 16-17th 2005... The Paradise !!!

There is a very big video which is coming on Zoneski in the next days... I'll link it here, although it will be extremely big I think. As Eric said, it was a wonderful weekend, with a lot of snow, some extremely great bumps and some terrific off-piste skiing (ouch my arm !) I really loved the...

    Tucks 4-16-05

Hmmmm, nice looking. Tucks is actually one possibility for me this coming weekend. We don't have much choice left here. 5 ski areas open in the province (possibly a 6th one near the chic-chocs). Christophe and a few of ZoneSki may go back to the Valinouet for the final weekend, after the...

    Gore 4/10

These 2 mogul trails seem to be really interesting ! I guess their super coverage is mostly related to the fact they are on the upper mountain. What's left lower ?

    Killington Closing Date

For the St-Sauveur opening date, it's on november 9... just like Killington. However, St-Sauveur opened during the afternoon while Killington opened in the morning the same day. So the last-to-close contest will be particularly interesting this year, as the last to close is sure to have the...

La Réserve, Saturday April 9th 2005, Awesome!!!

Weird... at first looking I was thinking there was more snow than last year, but comparing with pics from last year, I'm not sure anymore. There is less snow in the runout of the canyon, this is sure, unfortunately... but for the canyon, it's tough to say, but there may be less snow than last...

La Réserve, Saturday April 9th 2005, Awesome!!!

LOL Eric was posting on FTO last year you know. He's one of the moderators of ZoneSki actually It's cool to see your report here Eric... and it's so nice to see that amount of snow on the LG this year... As it looks way less steeper than last year at this date, it means that there is way more...

Alta (in Québec) - april 10 - still open on natural snow !

Alta (in Québec) - april 10 - still open on natural snow !

In 2 weeks, all the snow melted in Montreal. All the natural snow disappeared in the south sides of the ski areas north of Montreal. There was only 20-25 ski areas still in operations in the province. In the Montreal area, there is just a few natural trails still open..... but... Mt Alta...

    Killington Closing Date

St-Sauveur want to be open until may 20 this year (although they're tough to believe). I think we'll have a great last-to-close contest !! Last year Killington closed only 2 days after St-Sauveur... quite close :)

    What happened to Frankentour

Oh sh** I was forgetting them For the ski season, I was more talking of the lifted one. Of course, for the non-lifted, it's even not really begun :D I know I almost didn't post reports of the season, but if you want to see some highlights, I suggest you to take a short look of a few of these...
