Do you have any dates set? I don't have a beacon or anything but I would like to see how they work. With all the inbound avalanches we have seen over the past few years, its probably best practice to start using them all the time, or at least on higher risk days (out west of course)

I skied Sugar Loaf long ago as a kid, hills were all big to me back then. Might be a nice place to hike up and earn some turns after a good lake effect dump, of course that is if you can get up there with out the cops or security grabbing you. :lol:

I cant recall the name but it was down river area near Detroit. It was a old garbage dump known as Mt Trash more to locals. Any ideas? ](*,)

Snow cover was really good for this time of the year. Snowfall for the year was a little above normal (150" in Gaylord to date) Of course with lake affect snows, that total can very a lot in a very short distance because of the narrow bands of heavy snow that can develop. With irishskiers...

I was at nubs on 3-29-08- fantastic weather and great skiing/ride'n all day long. Nubs terrain park was in excellent shape, and IMO is still the best in lower Michigan.

Wow a HSQ at that small of an area is pretty cool. Yes the other 2 are Timber Ridge and Swiss Valley I like to try all 3 of them next season. I think I am heading up to nubs for Saturday :lol:
