I've got word from the folks at Killington that next week may be the time for the mice-blow-out.

Agreed. Sounds like you're a little late to be able to give the mountain a fair assessment. It's spring Joe, and flash frozen is the norm. If mountain opps groomed the whole mountain flat as a pancake, then there would be folks bitching that they whacked down all the bumps. The fact of the...

    Loon, NH: 03/27/05

I don't konw. I don't think it would make any sense for them to run a groomer up to the end of the steep section. My guess is that folks bomb that stretch after they finish the steep section. Most people I've skied with do. I tend to like to turn a lot regardless of pitch so i'm not one of them...

Great to hear you got to Loon, Steve. I had a great time ealier this month for four back-to-back days. They groomed the lower section on TT? That's odd. As joe points out, you need to conquer the upper portion first anyway, so why not leave the lower alone. I didnt see that TT had been groomed...

See attached. I got it down to 1.71 KB for you. There should be a JPG compression option somewhere in your image editing software. I use Paint Shop Pro and there's an "Options..." button in the Save as... dialogue box.

    Any Sugarbush reports?

Heading up for the first time next week and it looks like SB may be a better option than MRG given the snow conditions and forecast for next week (warming :x ). So...how's SB looking, specifically Castlerock?

    Other snowski forums?

I see you're from SC. The DCSki Message Forum covers the mid-Atlantic exclusively so you may find that useful. If you're interested in the Northeast, give AZ a try (link in sig).
