    Bobbyd and myself decided we saw a window of opportunity yesterday to make a few runs using the tram at snowbird. Spotted a car at Alta, and headed back down to the bird for the 11am tram. A few fresh inches of snow up high filled in all the suncups very nicely. First run we did a silverfox...

    Yes alas the snow is melting and walking is required. Did that same shot you are so happy with on Saturday and would say...it was exquisite. ROTD though saturday was South Chute at 2:15ish... Couple weeks left folks...get out there and make some turns while they are still running lifts.... M

    If you mean to the rope at top of tombstone at Alta, it does require a few steps over some rocks. Bobby, myself, and telejon did it Saturday and it required a few steps gingerly over rocks...maybe 20 feet. Both locations have a LOT of snow.... Hey what happened to the q&a pic for Tony crocker...

    Unfortunately Alta set a record high yesterday of 70 degrees. Old record was 66.....its heating up fast...should get slightly cooler towards the end of the week, but most definitely not hard freezes. I for one am hoping for one of those late May storms... M

    I dont think it took us anywhere near an hour and 40min to do the high baldy traverse/main chute/high rustler/back to car.... Well ok maybe 1 hour 20 min......we didnt "bubba" all that much. :D M
