    U.S. Presidency #47

Maybe more accurate to say, it's hard to imagine a democrat winning without a lead in the popular vote.

    U.S. Presidency #47

To me the most striking thing is, the polls were basically right, certainly in the national popular vote. It was very close to a tie. In the current setup, democrats can't win in a 50/50 popular vote.

    U.S. Presidency #47

The most telling thing I heard so far, Trump was killing it with Independents in Georgia, compared to 4 years ago.

What I meant was I'd be surprised if a democrat won Iowa. I am convinced that poll is measuring something real. IMO it's women.

This is mind blowing. Just one poll, but a well respected pollster. https://www.desmoinesregister.com/story/news/politics/iowa-poll/2024/11/02/iowa-poll-kamala-harris-leads-donald-trump-2024-presidential-race/75354033007/ Honestly I'd be shocked if this was real.

The Georgia prosecutor put herself (and boyfriend) above the case. Morally bankrupt, and a major tactical fuçk up.

Maybe it would seem less political if there was some kind of hierarchy of prosecution, where pressuring officials to change vote counts takes precedence over cheating on your taxes.

Thanks Tony. Is it fair to say that the polls now are more likely underestimate Republican vote?

    U.S. Presidency #47

People who talk to pollsters are now less representative of everyone who will ultimately vote. So it is too close to call. It's almost like the margin for error for polling has increased.

    U.S. Presidency #47

I'd like to hear theories about why this is. It's the number one issue, imo.

    U.S. Presidency #47

Improving participation is a worthwhile goal.

The liberal media is certainly calling it a homerun for Harris. More so today then last night IMO. Trump probably did get rougher treatment. But, to some extent, when your truth is so far out there, you're going to invite more fact checking. Eating pets kind of has to be looked into.

Get out the vote means encouraging those LIKELY to vote your way, to actually vote. It doesn't focus on undecided.

    U.S. Presidency #47

I'm skeptical that either candidate needs more money for advertising. But get out the vote matters and that costs money.

    U.S. Presidency #47

Makes sense. I had it backwards.

No joke. I'd heard that the tax stuff, many wouldn't get jail time for those crimes, if they paid the money owed. (I think he did that.) I knew the gun charges were more serious. I agree he should get what anyone else would get, without pardon.

Which is his most serious crime?

Crimes aside, that is a relief.

Who are the people in the image?

    U.S. Presidency #47

Woah. How do you enforce that?
