As predicted, this was not a lake event: Open Snow is expensive, and totals are way exaggerated, but it's extremely useful. I want to know where it's going to snow the most, and when. If they say 36" and I only find 18, whatever. You know that going in, so it really doesn't matter.

Yes we do. The top of Snow Ridge is flat, and they often groom it. McCauley and Titus do it too. The most untracked powder I skied in a day was at Snow Ridge, like 7000 vertical feet of largely untracked 400 feet at a time. Once you get the track set at the top you just keep slicing.
