Tony I'm sorry to say tldr. But you know what? This is a statistical thing. I'm guessing, and you are performing science. I say this sincerely: I take your word for it. Now it seems estimates for the pop vote difference is over 3M. That is significant IMO.

Maybe more accurate to say, it's hard to imagine a democrat winning without a lead in the popular vote.

To me the most striking thing is, the polls were basically right, certainly in the national popular vote. It was very close to a tie. In the current setup, democrats can't win in a 50/50 popular vote.

The most telling thing I heard so far, Trump was killing it with Independents in Georgia, compared to 4 years ago.

What I meant was I'd be surprised if a democrat won Iowa. I am convinced that poll is measuring something real. IMO it's women.

The Georgia prosecutor put herself (and boyfriend) above the case. Morally bankrupt, and a major tactical fuçk up.

Maybe it would seem less political if there was some kind of hierarchy of prosecution, where pressuring officials to change vote counts takes precedence over cheating on your taxes.

Thanks Tony. Is it fair to say that the polls now are more likely underestimate Republican vote?

People who talk to pollsters are now less representative of everyone who will ultimately vote. So it is too close to call. It's almost like the margin for error for polling has increased.

I'd like to hear theories about why this is. It's the number one issue, imo.
