Mt Washington Cog, March 29-30

You can always count on Lftgly to be out on the edge! Nice shots! Cog looks like an easy ski up- better than last year, huh...Wish I was with you, but really enjoyed the pow at Cannon too.

    Cannon Mt 3/1

I discussed this with LFTGLY- definitely not Cannon- if you want that kind of snow you have to go to Jay- Cannon "cold, icy, windy and steep- we ski it so you don't have to"...

    Gulf of Slides 4-9-06

afl170: The trail was skiable all the way down, but it was a survival slide on the lower half and you had to have no respect for your skis! I think it's probably still good about 3/4 of the way down by now. I heard there's more snow in Monroe Brook. Here's some more images of the trail. Cheers!

    Gulf of Slides 4-9-06

What a great day on the rock pile Sunday! Not a cloud in the sky all day! A group of 4, Becky, John, Pete and me skinned up the Gulf of Slides trail almost from the parking lot. The GoS was in perfect condition! Two guys from Biddeford had camped out and logged a couple of runs when we...

    Pipeline 5-17/18-03

Correction: It's about 500 vertical feet that's skiable. The ice flow has opened up and you can't ski to the bottom.

    Pipeline 5-17/18-03

OK. This season will never end! We hiked out from the auto road at 6000ft. All my phjotos are in Pipeline, although we did get some nice runs in Airplane Gully too. Two perfect days! Not a cloud and just enough wind to keep us cool.
Here's a view Pipeline from the road at 6000ft. It's...

    Mt Wasington-Airplane Gully 5-10-03

Typical day on the rock pile. The summit was socked in early with rime frost above 4000ft and an inch of new snow. The auto road didn't open to the public, so we opted to drive around the mountain and hike up the Jewel trail. The weather being overcast, we didn't have expectations for great...

I meant to say: It's NOT a pretty sight. Fortunately the bumps arrest the sliders!

    Airplane, Pipeline - 5/04/03

lftgly: Great photos! How were the shots to the skiers right of Airplane? It looks good in there.

    Tuckerman 5-4-03

Sunday was a great day to be on the rock pile. I wish I had lftgly's photo skills! I wish I had gone with him, because Left Gully was bumped up like Superstar. I made one run then hiked back up and headed over to Hillman's. It was much sweeter top to bottom, but losing its base faster than...

    Cannon Mt 4-25-03

Cannon could blow 20 feet of snow on Profile (like Killington does on superstar), then run the Cannonball quad and the Tram until the 4th of July! They put that much snow in the terrain park and half pipe now. Cannon could build the reputation for late season skiing, but it takes more than one...

    Cannon Mt 4-25-03

It was great, but it'll be gone Sunday with the rain today. Here's a view looking up Avalanche.

A lot of this was bare ground before the snow, yet we were able to ski it agressively and not bottom...

    Cannon Mt 4-25-03

What a surprise at Cannon! April 25th and the mountain got 15-20 inches of powder! You wouldn't believe it unless you skiied it! There were two or three other people on the mountain. We single handedly tracked up Pollies and Avalanche! We logged 5000 vertical feet of untracked creamy powder...
