I wonder if it also due to the rise in terrain parks. Bumps and a few jumps were the terrain parks, now you have runs been taken out of commision for parks, plus other runs for bumps. Bit of a backlash maybe?

Yes, I can see the counterfit part, and also knowing the exact loading of lifts by time of day. It also provides a boat load of specific personal demographic info for pass holders that are tracked for the entire season for days skied, preferred days, lifts taken, how long a break they took...

That's pretty neat. Have to say I was taken aback at Tremblant when they barcode scan your ticket every time you get on a lift - very big brotherish. I definately felt part of the Intrawest Marketing Machine. Since it's being tracked, I hope they make this kind of data available.

Expo had plenty of snow and bumps last Friday. It should hold up as well as any runs. Tremblant is claiming 9 inches of snow the last 2 days.
