We hit Alpine Meadows yesterday and Heavenly today. Outstanding conditions to say the least. Loads of light tracked, untracked and loose powder. Crowds have been manageable. Kids are having a blast.

Yahoo, We are landing Friday night in Reno and driving up to Alpine Saturday AM, then Heavenly for 6 days. Does Albertsons still have discount tickets?

Thanks to the knowledgeable folks on this list, I am sure you will answer my questions. I need a great deal on rental cars out of Reno. I need a hotel in Reno near the airport and I need to now which area to ski on Saturday the 19th, on the North Shore.

We are headed to Tahoe on February 18th, hoping for the pattern to change by then.

Very little base in the woods still. First storm blew away and then melted out last weekend. Both storms were also very low water content. Don't get me wrong, the skiing at Hunter the last 3 weeks has been off the charts. This morning I had boot top powder on both faces of the mountain.

Amazing soft spring bumps all weekend. No rain at all.

Thanks for all the advice. I knew I could count on you guys. Unfortunately, while I had permission, she neglected to tell me she was going out of town Sunday night. Had to console myself with a WROD at Hunter. Another chance comes soon.
