    Lake Tahoe 2/19- 2/26 2011 Weather: 100” before we got there, 5 days of sun and 25 degrees, 1 day of wind and no skiing and 4 hours of knee deep before they closed the mountain. If anyone has ever been to Heavenly, they know it is huge. 4800 acres. We crisscrossed the resort everyday...

    We hit Alpine Meadows yesterday and Heavenly today. Outstanding conditions to say the least. Loads of light tracked, untracked and loose powder. Crowds have been manageable. Kids are having a blast.

    28 inches in 2 weeks!

    Very little base in the woods still. First storm blew away and then melted out last weekend. Both storms were also very low water content. Don't get me wrong, the skiing at Hunter the last 3 weeks has been off the charts. This morning I had boot top powder on both faces of the mountain.
