i would rather have cold weather they this weather where if it were 5 degrees colder the rain would be snow. I do hear you though if it gets to cold the storms wont form but at least the snow guns can be out in full force and not have to deal with above freezing temps.

K says they have 33 trails for next weekend but whats funny is if you check the trail report they list about 36 trails on the list even though not all of them are checked as open. Is this what they may be planing on opening next? Man i wish i could be up at K though this weekend dispite all...

hey i agree there is so much on that map they manage to squeeze every inch out of that mountain and as you said change trail names so often every 1/16 of a mile etc. When i ski there though i just tend to go anywhere since i know the mountain i could care less. I just go and find a nice run...

see thats why i am not a ski snow expert analizer. Thanks for the info though. I just wish these little storms that keep hitting us with the edge of rain snow line would just shift a little further east so we would be on the snow line. But hey thats the east for ya!

i really wasn't bashing K i really commend them for what they do. I was just asking basically if the amount of trails open was weather related or basically were they just holding thehse amount of trails open till xmas time then open a huge amount at once. I agree skiing in nov at K can be iffy...

yeah that was a excellent report. I love how Killington says full blown snow on every open trail etc and fully groomed every trail. They say they are grooming all the trails tomorrow. Iteresting to see if someone can report tomorrow. I actually expected worse at Killington for this early. How...
