sixteen inches of suprise storm , for all intensive purposes we were supposed to miss this one , a nice miss , left us with a good helping of twenty percent density snow . taking slope angle into account , local slope knowledge into account , and a final decision on snow quality as far as what one would get away with , without bottoming to hard . it was a fun afternoon out there !!!! a few pics from the day .

last weekends storm was only an inch less but the density of the snow was so light that any kind of movement down anything of skiable angle one was dragging anchor hard . this storm was only an inch larger than the previous with much denser snow so anything with some angle became skiable , that one new wasn't boulders underneath. going back for another in the morning. maybe it'll be sunnier tom. get some nice pics of snowbird, their just a few days from peak color .

w00t!!! \:D/ =D>

BTW, it's a pet peeve of mine so I'm obligated to mention it:
It's not "for all intensive purposes" - the proper phrase is "for all intents and purposes".
Rubs my eyes wrong every time I see it.
