Kelly Brush Foundation Awards Ski Racing Safety Grants

Not to be too rude, but this must be the dumbest run foundation ever.
I almost wrote this last year when I saw the now annual news article (last year they were brilliant enough to give money to Vail of all places. So let's see, Vail ski club has a >$1.5M budget; but they need a special $10K grant for safety fencing? Are you kidding?).
As if the wealthiest race teams ever seen in the US (Aspen, Vail, Stowe, GMVS, etc.. ) can't find $10K to buy & Install fencing or etc... for safety? 100% of all these safety funds/grants should be going to the hundreds of ever struggling small & mid-sized race programs that without grants may never be able to afford such additional safety equipment. DUMB. DUMB. DUMB. ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) :evil: :evil: :evil:
