Greg Stump is back in the ski film business. Instead of producing the typical ski action movie, he's exploring the history of ski movies.

Here are a few of the names: Barrymore, Jay, Miller, Lang, Fanck...and Stump.

Definitely want to see this...

Great trailer.

Definitely love the association of music from the German 80s group Propaganda and Leni Riefenstahl which is seen on the trailer in her young as a skier in White Ecstacy by Arnold Fanck with Hannes Schneider. The irony. Leni Riefenstahl went on to make propaganda films for the Nazi.

The propaganda value of her films made during the 1930s repels most modern commentators but many film histories cite the aesthetics as outstanding

Arnold Fanck's White Ecstacy is in my top 5 favorite ski movies of all times.
