In spite of a less-than-negligible chance that it would not soften up, which scared off hoards of our friends, three of us made the hike up Jewell Trail and were rewarded for our efforts.

Dude that is so fat! I'll have to wait for next season...but TRs like this keep me so motivated to heal up and hit it ASAP.

Thanks!

A hiker at Hojo was talking about the guys that went down Airplane. I actually though that it might be you or someone of our party.

I was also up on Mount Washington on Sunday. However we were in Tuckerman. I'll type up something later, because I got back past 1 last night and got in late at work this morning. That Gorham-Ottawa drive is very long when you have to hike out of the ravine after a few ski runs.

Not only your friends, there weren't any real crowds in the Bowl. We actually were also concern about the snow not softening up when we started hiking up.

Nice TR Jon.

Glad to hear things came together for you. I'm still eyeing tomorrow, but the weather doesn't look good.

Sweet trip!
