much of the same from last week.. the trail had a few narrow spots but NO bare spots....( killington u suck  ) we were only going to ski one day on thurs, but the blue sky, the soft snow, the no hassles from the ski patrol when we set up our flags to try and get some rut lines going had our crew hang out for the last day on fri....probably about 20 people total on thursday  ....yes , it's true .. people are stupid....spring skiing does in fact rule... friday was free to ski...the trail still had spots of up to three feet of base...
i'm giving it up to bretton in small way, the little hill could, for staying open....i say the little hill that could because they could be , with a little openmindedness and very little effort, a very good hill to ski bumps on....i know for a fact someone at bretton is monitoring this site  u know who u are my man.... so i'll wrap this up with a simple, hey bretton, what is the big deal about running some seeded bumps on off the west side quad - all the way down the trail not some follish area of 15 bumps, during the winter. you would have 5 season passes sold in a minute from our crew if you did it...you open almost as as early as killing - me mountain resort over in vermont does and you have proven you can stay open later than killing me mountain resort. you have over 100 trails... you have absolutely no vertical, but make up for that with some nice glades....you could do so much more with just a little effort ....maybe you don't give a rats ass about us and only care about your " target audience" in the long run... if that's the case , they we are the fools... but the last 2 weeks when we skied your little hill, we go more shout outs from the skiing public about the " rut lines " we busted our asses trying to make to liven it up a little...you should be embarrassed that you don't devote one half of one percent , .05 , 1/200th of your terrain to some bumps...thanks for staying open later than killing me mountain resort- they have proven they have no more soul- the king is dead for sure, but man you guys could and should do better than you are...
in regards to Killing me mountain resort, i still have on my phone answering machine a " personal message" from Killing me mountain " president al holzman- olsen- or something like than, shaking me down for his resort's pass for next year ( any other asc passholders get that call?...) i'm keeping it on my message machine all summer for motivation to stoke the fire for my new hatred for the policies of that place. the letter to president al went in the mail today along with a collection of seaon passes for the last 5 years or so from our crew of nov- april and may skiers- telling president al what he can do with his shakedown, with his hill and with his passes. the letter told al to give me a call if he ever decides to recover his hill's soul. until then, el presidente al can, to quote our man steve the squirming rivercoil ( good phish tune!!!!! ) , "go blow".
