real quick:

pretty good. they picked up about 8-10" today. dumping hard at 2pm and apparantly through 4pm. with steady traffic on the open trails, it was barely noticable, but soft most of the day. ok, in that regard, i guess it was noticable. all open terrain held up well until about 1pm, then the spots of variable ice/powder started to accumulate. it was choppy, but still edgable.

Paulies: only snow on right side up top. really thin in the middle. opens up on the bottom left. gs pow turns early am if you're going tomorrow. lots of tracks up high though and following the right side down.

Zoomer: good on the left. not too many tracks given that it's right under the lift. zoomer liftline is tracked, but upper part should be good in the am tomorrow. thin after that.

i don't see the front five opening up. way too thin. it should stay "closed".

solo mission, so no pics. just thought i'd throw some beta down if anyone is headed out tommorrow. it'll be a good day for sure.

Coming back down I-93 tonight around 6pm, it was positively puking in the notch. Worst drive through the notch I have ever had regarding snowfall (winds not bad but will kick up tomorrow for sure). Visibility was about 10 feet in front of the hood. Generally, I could see the guard rails though a few times I thought I lost sight and my vision is pretty darn good. Long story short, I wouldn't be surprised to see some front five action fired up tomorrow. Official report is listing them as "May Open". The real hum dinger tomorrow will be if the Peabody Quad goes down on wind hold which would reduce chances for summit options.
