I just saw and realized that the mid-week season pass of Mt Shefford is 49$ for an adult.

49$ for a season pass ......

wow..... A day-ticket for the neighbour Bromont is about the same price.

49$ for perpetual nice conditions on a never crowded ski area enough close to Montreal easy to access and offering some of the best terrain in the east. 49$... too bad I'll work every mid-week day this winter ! arggggghhhh

(this is 35$ US) LOL

Back to the fu**** schoolwork on a friday night

Back to the Future...hihihi. It is predicted that the price of skiing will do down. Midweek season pass for Sunday River/Attitash is $249US (blackout days). I read this earlier today in SkiNews. It is a huge drop. The big ski areas don't have any choice, they know that they aren't retaining enough new skier/boaders in the sport. What will happend when the boomers will start prefering to spend time Golfing in Florida, instead of skiing in New England. (See Clifford's book: "Downhill Slide: Why the Ski Industry is Bad for Skiing...")
