Conditions at MRG

Noticing the rapid decline in open trails at MRG, Anyone with an up to date report. It appears from reading other reports that the lower half of Stark Mountain is down to the grass!!! Was there two weeks ago and was concerned that this might happen if there was a thaw. Still plan on returning but in all reality, can we really make up a season?s worth of snow in the amount of time we have left.
 
MRG ? What a difference a day makes, a check of various independent sources indicates that about 2 feet of snow fell over the MRV area. I believe the snow had a good moisture content which is what is needed for the base and the mountain holding the snow. Let?s hope the weather holds over the next few weeks and no more thaws. Snowfall totals really dropped off as you headed away from the storm. Our Larentian (Quebec) area only received about 3 inches but our snow pack is still relatively thick so any amount will help. Good to see the snowfall where it was needed the most.
 
So cool! Heading up to MRG for a week at the end of the month, timing of storm couldn't have been better.

With a couple of smaller followup storms MRG should be at its' best!
