A combination day to stretch the legs and watch the women's World Cup SL race.

Chilly day with on and off light snow. Not a lot of ski terrain open so we were not in a rush. Arriving at 10a and leaving just before 3p with zero traffic issues either direction. Now if only that were the case in prime season. Plenty of people attended the ski race. I didn't feel that it was as many as the newspaper claims, but certainly thousands. Slopes were moderately crowded, but no real lift lines. I was snowboarding per my usual early season methodology.

We hit every open lift at least twice except for Flyer. Only getting around 12 or 13K of vert due to race watching. And yes Mikaela Shiffrin won her 104th World Cup. Fun to watch.

The tracks are from patrol. Need a couple more storms up top

I was asking more about signage with real-time lift waits, which you pointed out are generally on apps these days. That didn't occur to me because I tend to go to obscure/smaller places without the need for that type of thing.

Yes the lighted status maps are common at base areas. Mammoth has 3 of them. Liftline status boards are more rare. I think I’ve seen them at Vail and possibly one of the Tarantaise complexes in France.
