Like some fine books, White Circus, Ken Read autobiography has been made into a movie.
The book related in life and his years on the Canadian National Ski Team when a group of Canadians came out of nowhere and took Europe and the White Circus by storm in the mid-70s.
The French journalist, Serge Lang, called them the "Crazy Canucks" because of the way they skied the downhill.
The book is a great read, alot of insign on how the behind the scenes aspect of the World Cup.
