"Anonymous" mentioned this lost ski area in another thread. I remember this well from heading often across I-84 as a kid with my family, and was always intrigued by it. Say, anonymous, you haven't any pics from your visit there, have you?

Yep, if you have some, it would be cool to see !

Also, don't be afraid to take a nickname, it's easier to recognize you, and it remains anonymous basically

Hep, here is the NELSAP link for this :

http://www.slackpacker.com/dutchess.html

Trail map + many stories... but no pics !

No pics. I was probably 12 or 13 the last time I skied there. You can still see the trails from I-84.

I would like to understand this...

any idea how a lost ski area could have some lift tickets of 2003... is it a montage ?

Has to be... The place has been closed for...decades I think?

Yep... it looks like 1975 for the closure, according to the website.

We really miss a website on the lost ski areas in the province, here. It's too bad that NELSAP is not interested to extend their coverage into the province.

(Don't tell me... I know I should build it myself with Patrick, as we are some data-warehouse alive)

We have thousands of datas, so we could make something great, but both us don't really have the time for that !

Job ? What Job ?
You didn't worked too much at job in the last months :-p

Joking... I know a baby means quite more job than a "civil servant" job :p (fonctionnaire) (teasing again)

Seriously, we should gather all the old ski brochures, pics, maps, books, reports, guides & all... and may be not to share that with the world, on internet, but at least to have it for us and our friends ski-dedicated. Patrick have some incredible stuff, I have some very decent things. Max probably have a lot of stock too and there is some quebeker lurkers on the boards, so we could assemble an incredible database on our ski areas. NELSAP do it pretty well in New England, but it would be cool if they could put online more old pics & maps of the still alive ski areas !

Hey Max, FYI, Patrick have about all the trail map editions of Mt Sutton since the early 70s !
