Freakin cold Summer in Colo

I've been watching the Dillon/Keystone temps and it looks like it has barely reached 70 degrees all summer. If we were to move to that area, we would have to buy some warmer clothes for biking. I think I'd enjoy it, but Mr. skibum likes to have the warmer summer weather of southern CA.

If the seasons are changing, I say bring it on. Some early to mid October snowfall might make for a good early season opening with more than the WROD. I am so ready for the ski season..... :ski: :dead horse: :ski:

It's been a weird summer as far as weather is concerned. Here in NYC we are having one of the coolest summers on record! It's quite something that I've only used the AC 3 times this summer! Meanwhile in seattle they are frying eggs on the sidewalk.

We have been getting some summer weather, though not a lot (front range/central mtns). I could be wrong, but to my knowledge this is the first July snow in the mtns since I moved here (in 98). It's snowed in the mtns every other month at least once, so now I've seen it at least once in all 12 months.

Craziest part to go with the cool weather is something like 8.5" of rain in the front range in just June & July. And in a place that normally averages only 15" of precip the whole year.

Yes you would, though this summer is definitely below average temps too.
