As usual, I expected a miracle in the form of 4-6" to fall overnight ....... so, when I woke up on Saunday morning I was treated to snow dumping at the rate of 1/256th of an inch per hour  . Here we go again. I thought that Perhaps I could get some palatible skiing at SBN like I had the prior Sunday; plus Dickie Hall parked next to me last Sunday and that's good kharma  . So, off I went to where Bob Ackland and his daughter Gretchen have been toiling away for weeks trying to make things just so nice for us skiers . I coughed up $52 for a SBN only special .....umm, I ain't used to forking all over this dough. At least there was a way all the way down the 2600 verts.

Up on the upper mountain .....whaddya' know, there was a whopping 2" - WOW!!!!! Truth be known, skiing was actually very good especially when ya' consider the thaw 'n freeze over the prior 24 hours. Seriously. Lookin' Good had some downright nice turns as I laid down some tracks. Snowguns triumphantly vomited out Frozen McSludge  over a good part of the upper mountain. Exterminator had some moments on the headwall, but some small whales down below :D . Conditions improved there as McSludge  accumulated. After a while, I discovered a traverse from Elbow to Exterminator (not quite a "James Bond Traverse") which was key as it eliminated the dicey 'Stermy headwall  .

For lunch at the Glen House, I had the Lobster Bisque - that it was served in a non chi-chi cardboard bowl did not detract from my eating experience and there were also ski films being played which is cool in my book :D . Yes, the Lobster Bisque is very good - right up there with the food I had at Whitewater years ago.

Ran into some ambassadors I knew later in the day and we had a blast whooping it up. The conditions held up surprisingly well all things considered. Like, they must put in some DuraSludge  additive to keep things from going totally to sh*t. Seriously; I give 'em credit. As usual, the staff at 'da Bush was very friendly and helpful 8) .

I figured out where the Panorama trail is ......I think it's 200 feet with a 25 foot vertical  . It appears that Zip has been taken off of the trail map.

I was pretty toasted by 2:30 and headed in so I could hurry back home to my folks down in Connecticut ......err, but the Patriots were on TV in the Lounge :) , so I could not leave 'til almost 4:00 cuz' I can't seem to track down Gil 'n Gino on the radio up there :( . I have priorities, ya' know
