When we went up Saturday they claimed to have 19" in the last 7 days. It must have blown away. We ventured off-piste and no way was there 19" anywhere. There was maybe 6-8" on top of that ice base. Any trail that did not have any manmade on it was scraped bare. Hawkeye was the only trail anygood. It had alot manmade that turned into to some decent bumps toward the end of the day....but as usual the trusty Gore mountain groomers flattened them out for Sunday. That place sucks for any kind of bump skiing. The only trail they let any bumps build on is Rumor, but the bumps are usually about 20 feet apart.
Enough ranting......we did find some decent stuff in the lower angled trees in the Burnt Ridge area. Enough so that we made 4 runs in there. Still need to proceed with some caution as lots of snow snakes still rearing their heads.
