THANKS NHPH !!!!!!!!

I was looking for pics of Mt Kaaikop for years !

I didn't read the story yet, but this is one of the places where I would like to build a ski area, if I was rich !

I look to the list and there is even the little Mt Plante ! wow, I can't believe that.

Really thanks a lot !!!!
Wow, the video of Mt Plante is truly amazing !!
hey, look at it, it's a must, for the ones who love the narrow trails and the powder into them ! It looks even better than how I thought it would be (I only hiked it in summer)

The video of the Chic-Chocs in april 2003 is also very great... with the Champs de Mars and the superb Mt Hogsback, in particular !
The video confirms my impression that the Chic-Chocs are in a class by themselves in terms of both quality and quantity of eastern backcountry skiing.

How long does the hike/skin into those locations take compared to Tuckerman's?
I'm not sure if someone here could answer you, Tony... but here is a pic of Mt Hogsback at the end of the video. The pic is taken from Mt Blanche Lamontagne.

Considering the road pass just beside the ski area, it should be extremely short to hike. Obviously, it's more for april, when the avalanche chances are low.
