Went to Greek Peak yesterday after work. Upon arrival there was only about 4" of new snow, on top of a bulletproof base and rocksolid moguls.

The troughs filled up first and make for some nice soft turns. It snowed about an inch an hour and the firm stuff slowly disappeared under the
fluff. Each run better than the last.

Skied until the last chair at 9pm.

The drive home was probably the worst driving I did all winter. The snow seemed particularly slick on the road and when I got above 35mph my AWD Subaru was merely surfing on the surface and barely holding onto the road. It was a third gear drive all the way home. Visibility was very poor. The final hill to get to my road required that I slow down for an oncoming vehicle, as there was only one discernable lane. My tires spun as I had to go down to 2nd gear to climb the hill. I wasn't sure if the car would keep going straight on the road, as it struggled to get enough riction to make the ascent.

My backyard backcountry was brown and muddy yesterday morning, now is sporting a thick white wintry blanket. Today I plan on taking advantage of it, because I don't expect it to be here for long. Looks like about 8-10".
