had occasion to speak with a co worker's brother who is a meteorological student... he insists after this weekend, a major shift is going to take place for the upper half of the country and the north east... he could be blowin smoke( hopefully cold smoke ) or maybe not.. but this guy told me to come in off the ledge and give it another week and all should be well... loon on tues and wed next week

Yeah... on tuesday/wednesday/thursday, they forecast a minimum of -17c in the North and -14 in Montreal (about 5F in the north and 10F here). I guess that it's really winter that is arriving. Next weekend, a ton of ski areas will open and the ones actually open will probably have a lot more terrain open !!! <BR> <BR>Keep your fingers crossed !!!

ok, well i am back from the warm weather, thank god <BR> <BR>it looks like we are in for some nice cold weather, snow making and snow storms, so excited to see that the snow is starting to fall, hopefully no more warm spells <BR> <BR>porter
