Yea, apparently, it's a very warm "pineapple express". Was raining yesterday up to about 8,000 feet in the Tetons and rain in the Wasatch too, up to very high elevations. Unusual, I think, but not completely unheard of.It was raining all the way up Boulder Canyon yesterday morning. Fortunately turned to Tahoe esq dense snow by about half way up the shelf road to Eldora... Currently mid 60's in mid-am in the lowlands of Denver metro this morning (normal is ~45 for a high in Feb)... Way, way too warm for early Feb.
Once I get through a week of teaching starting saturday...@kingslug if you ever want a geezer's tour of Snowbird let me know. I'll be on that hill quite a bit the rest of the winter. I also ski Solitude and Brighton a fair amount.
