It's official...Hunter opens tomorrow with skiing at least from the summit down to F lift.

I'm definitely going to be there for opening.... I was actually going to drive up to Killington tomorrow, I had already made plans to get up at 2:45 AM... I even made myself wake up after only 5 hours of sleep this morning so I could pass out at 7 or 8 PM tonight... I wonder how the snowmaking is going on other trails, like eisenhower or the cliff. Good thing they didnt announce this a few days ago, that might result in too many people knowing about it and then sharing that one run with like 500 people - although I'm not ruling out that possibility anyway... Anyone know if they got any natural snow from that system that was hitting yesterday or the day before?

They've had trace amounts of lake effect snow all day long.
They're blowing on Kennedy, but I doubt they'll open that up tomorrow.

Dedication to the game. I'll be up at 4:45 in the morning so that I can go sit in the woods of Northern Vermont before dawn waiting for deer in the single digit weather :shock: .
