Hunter got 8"-10" before the sleet started. Not enough to open any woods yet, but trail conditions are SWEET! I'll let the pics from Clair's Way tell the tale:

Was anybody at Hunter today? They have snow in the forecast for tonight, i'm thinking of making the drive (2.5 hrs)...think its worth it?

I arrived at Hunter on Saturday @ 8:30AM. It was raining pretty hard; well, hard enough to bag it, even though there may have been a chance that it was going to change to snow.

Their "conditions" board said that they were expecting 4"-7" of snow.

I've lost all respect for Hunter's conditions listings. I've seen them say "wet powder" for primary surface. Wet powder = slush. Duh! :x

I arrrived at about 10:00am and it was raining buckets...by the time I parked it had turned to snow! Went back and forth for a bit, then it lightened up and stayed sleet/snow; we never got 4-7", but the skiing was fantastic! Wound up skiing from 10:30 to 3:45pm non-stop.
