Hurricane Mountain NY

Took the following pictures from Hurricane Mtn NY with a elevation of 3694' and 360 degree view. Temperatures at the summit in the low 70's so not even a hint of snow in the air. Still great way to get the family into skiing shape.

The 'Dacks were always my favorite place to hike. Hurricane, however, was not one that I ever did. Nice shots! Foliage sure seems late this year.

The heat continues....After a hot summer, we're having a warm fall. Temperatures in Ottawa will be in the 80s for the next 3 days (normal is 59F). :?

... and if everything averages out, it should be one hell of a winter. we're 'owed' lots of cold air and wet weather. mix 'em together and what do you get ... SNOW! we're due for a brutal winter. bring it!
