i just can't believe that there has not been a significant snowfall yet this winter . all these piddly storms followed by rain or freezing rain, i have had enough. i hope it snows soon, the groomers are getting shorter every run. the trees are calling but no one is home. too dangerous to ski, asking for trouble, thin cover and blue ice. urghhhh!!!!!!!!!!! word has it that a noreaster is comin next week, i hope so.

If the runs are getting shorter, take up telemarking. It makes the trails twice as long. This has totally increased my enjoyment of smaller ski areas and when there are no good bumps or trees to ski in.

Nope. Even doing telemark groomers are boring.

I might take my skinny hippy sticks and low boots to the resort this weekend, just to get better on that stuff without the crutch of a stiff boot.

How boring are groomers on telemark gear?
