Sorry to say, but Tuesday night and Wednesday it will rain across the northeast. The mountains cannot escape this one, but it doesn't look like it should effect the snowpack too badly. Everything will just be much more consolidated by this weekend.

-Scott
La Réserve should avoid the rain !

La Réserve is never crowded

Who's IN for a little day at la Réserve on dec-25-26 or so ?

(I'M IN !!!!!) (I admit that I have a little bit less road to drive than you, to reach it)
According to the ETA model, it doesn't really look good for the 60 next hours for Jay Peak.

I hope they won't be touched too much... and I hope that some snow will fall after the rain !

even the north here will have some rain today and tomorrow

I should go to Mt Édouard right now...
According to snow-forecast.com you're going to have a very wet Christmas Eve back there. http://www.snow-forecast.com/maps/appalsnow48.php

8,000 foot snow level in New England and Quebec? Obnoxious.
It did NOT rain at Sugarbush VT at any time during the skiing day.

Dash the weather guessermen and guesserbabes...
Great job - they can be wrong 50% of the time and still keep their jobs. Wish I had a job like then. Then again, they are entertainers first, meterologists second.

p.s., more about the Bush on Wednesday.
I think it's more on tomorrow that it's going to fall.

It's weird, at St-Jovite, it will be 33 degrees tonite, tomorrow morning, tomorrow afternoon...... and 45 degrees tomorrow night. Weird thing.

Tremblant looks to have had some snow today, but it's not sure neither. Tough to say for St-Donat cause the webcam is down.... like every weekend or holidays...

If there is just 1 day of rain with snow after, the conditions should remain correct. It will be amazing to have a super base and after to receive other storms. The 2003-04 season could be quite long with that huge solid base !!
