Great post Bendude!

Too bad it's a bit too "hardcore" for some other site...

I should have been there but i was out mountain biking in Mont Tremblant... they only have 3cm (1in) of snow on the ground so biking is still great... and i was too lazy to drive down on Sunday...

Next week tought might be my first week-end on board... or on Tele...

Good job!

I was there that day as well. It was a darn good day.

Did many runs in the stateside area including 2 or 3 in Timbuktu (featuring 2-2.5 feet of fresh, just enough to get over all the stumps, rocks, etc.) and many more on the 2-3 runs that were open there. Amazingly there was powder everywhere.

Then we hiked up Vermonter rode back down the way we came. The plan was to hit Green Beret but it looked too windblown, but Vermonter itself was a sweet run that only had minimal tracks on it and 2 foot of pow most everywhere. The runs below catwalk were a bit scratchy.

Here's a shot of us hiking up towards the tram. We had so much fun after no one thought of pulling the camera out for action shots.

Later we marched up Northway (I think) to the chair below the tram (Green Mtn Flyer?) and came down what I think was exhibition. Holy powder batman! chest deep drifts in places!

With all the rain days before we thought we would never see pow like this. Boy were we wrong. Jay rocks. And based on what we found back in Sugarbush on Sunday, the extra time in the car was well worth it.
